Party time!

We shared our toys from home and our news.

Lots of dancing!

Warm up dancing before going into the hall for games and dancing with Years 1 and 2...

Pass the parcel and musical statues was great fun!

Busy bees...!

We enjoyed having photos taken of us with friends by the Christmas tree. We hope you liked your photo!

Lunch time was fun too. We could choose from all sorts of party food. THANK YOU for all the contributions. Much appreciated!

Fantastic party hats!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Super sharing of toys brought in too. Well done!

A fun day for all!

Busy reception week

What a busy last week we have had. We have been busy making Christmas gifts for our families; cards, calendars, baubles and reindeer food.
We have also been completely our superhero work, weighing superheroes and making pop up puppets. We have done some instruction writing on how we made our puppets.

Friday Post 8: Stick Man!

It was fun sharing this story on Friday. (One of Miss B's favourites)

Many of us were keen to create our very own 'Stick' characters.

We used all sorts of materials to wrap, twist, tie, attach and fix.

This stick man is running fast.

I've made a kite for him.

This is Stick Ladylove!

Our Stick family members so far...

Well done, everyone!

Miss B

Friday Post 7

Even more rehearsing and performing...
On stage, mid story...
Grandma managed to escape!
The woodcutter saved the day!
Taking on different roles and re-enacting parts of the story with peers.
Setting out the stage with the props they required in their version of the story
Using language from the story and adding their own ideas
Knock, knock
"Who's there?"
Mr Wolf!
Grandma is rather scared...

Lots of us have created tickets for the show.

Very convincing!

Acting out parts of the story
