Street Feet and measuring

This week we have been using the construction to look at measuring. We have made really tall towers, tall enough to reach the ceiling.

We have made different shapes out of our train tracks, and been practising how to share and take turns with the small world boxes.

We have been comparing sizes to say which is longer or shorter and counting how many carriages our vehicles have.

We have been using the computers to practise our literacy and number skills.

We have also had the opportunity to use the Street Feet resources. We have been working outside to learn about being safe on the roads. What should we go, how do we cross the roads, what we should do at traffic lights and what should we look out for....
